Andy Flack

Andy Flack, MSc, PDHyp, UKCP Registered.

Andy is an experienced integrative psychotherapist and coach and has worked with individuals and groups for the last ten years. He has in-depth experience of working with diverse groups in clinical settings as well as challenging situations within both private and public sector settings.

He realised his skills in connecting mental processes with physical states would be ideally suited in the world of sport. He trained as a Sport Psychologist at Brunel University and has worked across a number of fields including gymnastics, football, and athletics. Andy has completed the three-year supervised experience programme with British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES) and is currently applying for accreditation.

Andy has adapted techniques and approaches from a wide skill base including Neuro-Linguistic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Clinical Hypnosis and Gestalt and Humanistic approaches to psychological aspects of performance, from the management of mood and emotion to recovery from injury. In addition, he has worked extensively with groups and teams in the private sector offering support, training and development and supervision.

Andy believes that each performer or team is unique and that psychological input needs to be tailored to suit the unique needs of the person.

• 2002 Master Practitioner Diploma Neuro-Linguistic Programming
